ATTA provides many services for its members, which cover:

1. Networking
Networking parties and seminars are held in UK, East and Southern Africa. These events allow members to establish relationships with their counterparts across the industry, connecting accommodation suppliers, safari operators, wholesalers, transport providers, journalists, publications, and other tourism related products.

2. Information and Advice
ATTA has dedicated Medical, Legal, Crisis Management and Insurance advisors whose specialist knowledge in their fields is available to members when required.

3. The Membership Directory and Database
A comprehensive Directory, only available to members, is published annually listing members contact details. Indexed by contact name, category and company this publication is a vital aide­-memoir for the tourism industry.

4. The ATTA Media Club
ATTA today distributes press releases for a members through our press service which will be seen by over 5000 journalists representing all types of UK media.

All ATTA press releases are viewed by the people who are specifically working within the travel industry.

There are currently over 500 travel organisations registered with our press service with their own press centres, where travel journalists can access their news and information 24 hours a day.

ATTA members are reminded that they can send 2 press releases each year between October 1st and September 30th.

5. Exposure of your product
Through its sophisticated website, which includes hyperlinks to your own website, ATTA provides a valuable exposure of membership product.

6. Travel shows
ATTA is represented at all the major travel trade shows that feature tourism to Africa. We exhibit on stands at FITUR in Spain, ITB in Berlin, INDABA in South Africa, TOP RESA in Paris and WORLD TRAVEL MARKET in London. Suppliers exhibit to promote their company to the buyers of African product.

7. ATTAK, JOBSPOT
ATTA have developed a sophisticated website with communication facilities attached. The ATTAK facility distributes news stories posted by the executive that can be filtered as required by country and category and distributed via e-mail. NEWSBUCKET allows members to attach offers and specialised information to their website. JOBSPOT acts as a staff-recruitment advertising service broadcast across the membership for a nominal fee, This fast, cost effective recruitment service instantly reaches over 1000 members of the African tourism trade. The results are spectacular.

8. The ATTA Logo
Members display the ATTA logo on stationary and promotional material, which acts as a source of recognition throughout the industry.

Fees are charged pro-rata, calculated on the number of remaining months in the financial year.
